I figured it is about time that I update this page. So much has changed since the day that I decided to leave my ex. The hurt is still there but the bitterness has long ago passed. To be honest, it has been a good year. After it was finalized that I would get my Dog - Snow - and my car back, things started on a pretty positive progression. I have paid off all the debt that my ex stuck me with; I am a year ahead on my car payment, and am looking to buy a house in the beginning of 2010 and I bought a house that I am currently remodeling.
I have forgiven my ex for all the pain she has inflicted upon me, but realize that I will never be the same. I am not sure if this is a natural step that needs to be taken on the road to recovery, but it is a step that I have taken and feel comfortable with.
Also I have started to think clearly for the first time in a couple of years and have started to put pen to paper and am working on a novel. It is far from complete and is in obvious need of editing, but it is a start and is progressing well. There are several details that need to be worked out, but the pieces are falling into place nicely, that is not to say that I do get side tracked and can’t help but to start something else mid-gear.
Along those lines, I will also be submitting some material for hopeful publication early next year.
